Available Dogs

Dexteris a year old neutered Boston Terrier. He is crate trained, house trained, and is up to date on his shots. He gets along well with other dogs and older children. He has not been around cats. Dexter is good in the car and is a real snuggler. He is very playful and does all the puppy things, both good and bad. Dexter also is a special needs dog. His right rear leg was injured. He does use it some but, carries it most of the time.

Dexter's new family would be one that would commit to taking him to an obedience class. This will help with bonding, provide clear positive communication, and tame his puppy behaviors. If you or your family can provide Dexter with a healthy, safe, and happy life, Please contact Vicki at vickalus@icehouse.net

Bunnyis a 10 year old , 15 pound, female Boston Terrier mix. She is spayed, housetrained, and up to date on her shots. Bunny is a sweet, gentle soul who is looking for a home to live out her golden years. She listens well and walks nicely on a leash. She knows sit, stay and comes when you call. Bunny does not appreciate rambunctious, unruly dogs. She would love to be your only pet. Don't let her age fool you. She is full of pep!

If you or your family can help make Bunny's life a safe and happy one, please contact Vicki at vickalus@icehouse.net

Gabeis a 2 ½ year old, 11 pound Boston. He is very smart, walks well on or off leash, knows several commands, is happy and very playful, gets on well with other dogs, loves to fetch his ball, and is quite the cuddler.

Gabe is a special needs dog. He has a condition called atresia anus. He has the mildest form of it, but it leaves him incontinent. He has no muscle control of his anus. He wears a special suspender setup with a diaper while inside the house. It works very well. He needs a daily bath in the sink or in the shower with you. He doesn't mind it and knows the routine! Gabe also has the lack of skin covering his penis. He also has a very thin body type.

The perfect home for Gabe would be a home where he would not be alone for more that four hours or someone who works from home. Someone who will change his diaper regularly, 3 to 5 times a day, keep him clean, and safe. If you or your family can help make Gabe's life a safe and happy one, please contact Vicki at vickalus@icehouse.net

Are you the right person or family for one of our special needs Bostons?

Often we have Bostons looking for a forever home, but they have special medical needs. We are looking for individuals or families that have that special place in their hearts to love and care for one of our senior or special needs dogs. These loving, little souls are in need of a forever home, just like the younger dogs, and in return give unconditional love and devotion.

If you or your family can provide the needed medical and financial commitment to one of our special needs Bostons, please contact Vicki at vickalus@icehouse.net or 425-869-2297.

Please send in your application. Upon receiving it we can begin the dog matching process. Our Bostons are placed very quickly, sometimes even before they are posted to the web site. Please contact Vicki for more information.
